Dans le commerce, le bois d&#8217;oeuvre n&#8217;est pas identifi\u00e9 en tant qu&#8217;\u00e9pic\u00e9a, mais en tant que \u00ab\u00a0sapin\u00a0\u00bb.\u00a0 les grumes sont transform\u00e9es en bois de charpente\u00a0; toutefois, si les accroissements sont fins et le bois tendre, donc de haute qualit\u00e9, il servira \u00e0 la menuiserie, au placage, au d\u00e9roulage, \u00e0 la fabrication de poteaux et de perches, mais aussi \u00e0 la lutherie pour les plus beaux bois.
